HOTEL ROOM SERVICE
Apart from traditional telephone ordering, the hotel offers its guests the modern and convenient option of ordering room service via the OIDO system.
By scanning a room-specific QR code, guests can view the hotel's menu during kitchen opening hours and select the food and drinks they want. The order is finalised conveniently from the room by paying by credit card directly in the OIDO system.
As soon as payment is received, the kitchen is automaticly notified of the order and can begin preparation. Once preparation is complete, the hotel staff deliver the food to the guest's room.
The guest can track the status of their order in real time on their mobile phone on the order receipt page in OIDO (optional).
Manual tasks for room service orders:
- Taking orders by phone,
- Transfer to the booking system,
- Preparation order to the kitchen,
- Transfer to the billing system for invoicing
- final credit card booking.
